Joining the Matching Gift

The matching gift started out as $.50 and within hours doubled to $1.

If you are interested in donating more than an hour of your time consider adding to the matching gift. Contributing a match of any size (even $.05) helps provide motivation. I will include the total of all matching gifts on the website and give recognition to all who participate.

Although it is hard to estimate whether 10, 100, 1000, or 10,000 people will join in this effort some basic information on the total number of Rice alumni can be found at http://www.ruf.rice.edu/~instresr/ricefacts/alumni.html#demo and some information concerning past giving rates can be found at http://www.giving.rice.edu/giving/Pacesetters_Report.asp.
